Am I truly satisfied in God? If I were, I wouldn’t be chasing after other things. This teaching suggests that my problem lies in my desires; I simply don’t desire God enough. I need to focus on Jesus, who is the most satisfying, and recognize that everything else pales in comparison.
Father, grant me a willing spirit to pursue my full satisfaction in Christ, and help me put to death everything else.
